Every Mon, Wed & Fri 10 am to 2 pm The center's Information and Referral worker, Sally Hock, will be at the center to assist seniors in completing Senior benefits programs.
Wed, Jan 7 and Jan 21 9 am to noon Pete Gea will be meeting with seniors about insurance through the APPRISE program. Call Center for an appointment.
Mon, Jan 5 12:45 pm Karen Bajwa will be here to explain the Food Stamp Program
Thurs, Jan 8 10:30 am Mike Harris will be here to tell us how to reduce taxes on our Social Security income.
Mon, Jan 12 12:30 pm Financial advisor Dick Hoback from Senior Products Group will present an informative program.
Tues, Jan 20 12:45 pm Brian Moyer will give us a healthy innovative Food for Thought program.
Thurs Jan 22 10:30 am Do you want an alternative to using a realtor? Rodger Paisley Auction Company will be here to show you another option.
PACE/PACENET Pennsylvania has increased the income limits for its prescription drug program for seniors. 400,000 more seniors will benefit. Stay tuned for more details.

Aladdin Lo-Vision Machine
There is a machine available at the Center that magnifies text 50 times its original size. Please see a staff member to use this valuable resource.

National Eye Care Project
If you are 65 or older, have not seen an opthalmologist in the last 3 years and do not belong to an HMO, you may qualify for an eye exam and eye care from a volunteer opthalmologist. this program, known as the National Eye Care Project, is designed for those without the means to pay. Contact Sally Hock at the Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 am to noon.

Free Hearing Aid Batteries
We have exhausted our supply. When or if we are able to have the program again, we will be sure to change this notice.

 

PA Senior Dental Programs
If you are 65 or older and have an income of $14,000 or less (single) or $17,000 or less (couple), you may be eligible for dental services at reduced rates. Call Sally Hock at the center for more information.


Volunteers in Medicine Dental Program
If your household income is 200% of poverty level or less, you may be eligible for low cost dental care at Community Volunteers in Medicine, West Chester. For more information, contact Community Volunteers at 610-836-5990 or call Sally Hock at the center.
