50/50 Drawing |

selling 50/50 tickets at $1.00 each. Drawings will be held every other

for rent, for parties, dinners, meetings. Please call the Center at

Property Tax/Rent Rebate
Deadline Extended |

The PA Property Tax and Rent Rebate
Program for 2002 has been extended to December 31, 2003. For more
information, please contact Sally Hock at the Center: Monday, Wednesday,
or Friday 10-2. |
Looking for Work? |

An Older Worker Employment Specialist
will help you find part time work in a variety of fields. This free
service is available to Chester County adults over the age of 55.

Chester County Alliance Adult Training and Education |
 |
This is a program partnership between
the Chester County Intermediate Unit and Delaware County Community
College for spring and fall courses. The alliance provides a full
scope of college-related, non-credit courses such as adult literacy
programs, professional certifications, community education, contracted
training for business and industry and computer training. Computer
courses are $35.00 for an 8-hour course. Non-computer classes range
in price.
Pick up a Delaware County Community College Fall 2003 schedule, Over
60 registration (pg. 51) Form at the Senior Center. Registration deadline
is September 26. |
Driving Class Schedule |

The AARP-sponsored 55 Alive driving
classes will be held at the Senior Center on the following dates
in 2004:
February 12 and 13
April 15 and 16 (due to Easter)
June 10 and 11
August 12 and 13
October 7 and 8
December 9 and 10

The cost of this course is $10.00, payable
to the instructor.
Call the Center for an appointment.
Lunch is available at the Center for students of the driving class,
with advance notice. |
ACME Receipts |

from ACME markets. The center receives a % of the total excluding
taxes. Thank you to Jane Roach for organizing these receipts. |

available every day for sale at the center's craft table.
