eLiteracy

 

CCIL, CC-OIC and TeamChildren partner to promote eLiteracy  

 

“To be an effective citizen in the 21st century, you really have to be e-literate” says Ed Callahan, President of the Board of Directors of the all-volunteer group called Chester County InterLink (www.ccil.org). CCIL's mission is to promote e-Literacy and community development through technology.

 

CCIL provides Internet access for Chester County residents, students and workers;

 

  hosts Web sites for other Chester County non-profit organizations;

 

  and provides community calendars for Chester County municipalities and school districts.

 

  CCIL started a pilot-program with the Chester County Opportunities Industrialization Center (CC-OIC). Chester County OIC is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free Adult Basic Literacy Education and essential life skills  programs that prepare individuals for    continued on Community

  • Last year, spam/virus attacks have perplexed uses and CCIL IT Support Teams. We have been giving out instructions to delete spam messages to prevent the Inbox from going over 20-MB limit. With the migration of last years servers, spam has been cut back by stronger server filtering.
